Emanuele Maniscalco (acustic drums, keyboard)

VÆVER, in Danish, is the word for 'weaver', but it can also be used to describe someone moving in an agile and elegant way. The word was originally picked as a title for a project that offers an unprecedented and stimulating point of view in the field of the improvised performance. Emanuele Maniscalco, an established multi-instrumentalist (drums, piano/keyboard) from Brescia, develops a profound and essential language, drawing inspiration from various influences ranging from jazz to ambient music. The result is as powerful as it is delicate: Væver becomes a place where the limit becomes strength.
